Question: I used to be on weight loss program but I went off the program and now I'm having a very hard time getting back to it. Why can't I just start back on the program like I did first time?
Answer: This is a great question and an important topic to talk about: the idea of a diet. I’ve come to think of “diet” as a four-letter word because it allows us to think about either being “on a diet” or “off a diet.” This all or nothing mentality can be really discouraging, especially when we’re in situations where making healthy choices is not easy! Specific diets or weight loss plans have their place and can help people lose weight, but it’s just as important to learn healthy habits and incorporate these habits into our routine every day so that making healthy choices is not so hard.
