Back in the day -- 1693, to be exact -- the Sanderson sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) were burned at the stake for being witches. Three hundred years later, the sisters finally have their day ... or night. Halloween night, to be exact.

On that fateful night, disbelieving teenager Max Dennison (Omri Katz) decides to raise the sisters' spirits. He lights a black candle in the museum that's been erected on the site of the witches' former house and gets a big surprise. It works! The sisters come back to life. But in order to stay alive, they have to steal the life force of unsuspecting trick-or-treaters. It's up to Max, and an unusual ally, to stop them. But is it too late?
