Going to one party and wanting to look amazing is stressful enough, so we can’t even begin to imagine how Jane feels juggling two parties at once! One thing is for sure: she gets an A+ for being the best-dressed at both of her events.

We all can get stressed out at the thought of finding the perfect dress to wear to a big event but Jane has proven that thinking outside the box and reinventing your dress might be your best option! The before and after of this avant-garde looking pink dress is unbelievable, and we love how Jane modernized the dress with all the black leather details. Go Jane! It is not only whimsical, but also incredibly edgy. This episode she’s inspired all of us once again to push the envelope. With a little patience, creativity, and a tailor anything is possible! Why go from store to store looking for this perfect dress you have pictured in your mind when you can just have it made?!

There are a few key things to keep in mind when doing this. First, find pictures of what you want the dress to look like or try sketching out a pic. Second, search your closet for any old dresses that you can use as the base to build from or search a local vintage shop for some inexpensive treasures. Third, visit a neighborhood fabric store for any extra fabric you may need and also any cool trims. Finally, search online for a tailor in your area and take all your materials to them for a meeting on what he or she can design for you. Since tailors can vary in price, be sure to check with at least a couple different places to ensure you’re getting a good deal!

What a beautiful episode! Between the fashion show and Jane’s fabulous dress, we are ramped up to go out shopping ASAP! We now believe there is a creative designer inside each and every one of us. Don’t be hesitant to design your own gorgeous dress with the help of a tailor, some inspirational pics, and of course some fabric. Jane impressed us this episode and we sure hope that she impressed Gray as well! Jane is the fashionable and ambitious girl that we all admire and it seems she might be able to have it all.
