Danny Desai

played by Avan Jogia

character

Danny is a charismatic teen who has spent 5 years in juvenile detention for the murder of his aunt, a crime to which he’s confessed but he won’t – or can’t – divulge his motive. Forced to return to his hometown by his mother, Danny holds his head high and meets the hostility of his high school classmates with easy-going charm and self-control. Danny reaches out to his two former best friends, Jo and Lacey, both of whom have struggled to put the past behind them during his absence. But when a student is found dead in her home, suspicion centers on Danny, and the question remains: is Danny an unforgivable criminal, or is he really a maligned victim with a shocking secret in his past?
