Gay, vibrant and new to Los Angeles, Nick has just moved from Ohio and has already witnessed a murder. A “Mystery Girls” super-fan, he refuses to give a statement to anyone but his two favorite “detectives,” Holly Hamilton and Charlie Contour, so the cop in charge of the investigation arranges for that to happen. Enthusiastic and excitable, he persuades Holly (who’s totally on board) and Charlie (who has serious doubts that he’s qualified) to hire him as their assistant at the new detective agency.
Miguel is an LA newbie and living his dream in his first series regular role. A New Yorker by way of Florida, he graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where he studied Theatre and Gender Studies. In NYC, Pinzon devoted much of his time to theater making as a member of the Theater Reconstruction Ensemble (TRE), as well as The Flea Theater's resident acting company, The Bats.
He crossed a to-do off his bucket list when he appeared opposite Aaron Sorkin and Tina Fey on "30 Rock" and has recurred on "Law & Order: SVU."
Miguel is inspired by the films of Pedro Almodovar, serendipitous moments, and Tilda Swinton.
