Have you heard about ABC Family’s original movie Cyberbully, starring Emily Osment? The movie raises a lot of important questions, so before you watch, you should download the official Cyberbully Conversation Starter.

We’ve teamed up with Jess Weiner, founder of the Actionist network, to help kick off the conversation. “We care deeply about this issue and believe it takes all sorts of influencers and educators to continue this complex and serious conversation,” she said.

Jesse also got a sneak peek of the movie and had this to say: “It is relevant and powerful. It covers a lot of areas including online privacy, school involvement, rumors/gossip, and parental boundaries around online behavior. It will no doubt stir more conversation and that’s what we need!”

Talking about these kinds of issues can help us better understand and solve them. Here’s a sample question from the conversation guide.

How many times have you started a fight, issued an apology, broken up with someone, or asked someone out online? Why is it SO much easier to do these things online than off?

That sure got us thinking! Download the Cyberbully Conversation Starter now!
