countdown to 'samurai girl'

Posted August 21, 2008

Vintage wedding kimono? Check. Necklace given by long-lost brother. Check. Ninjas wielding nunchucks? Chuck, er, check. Okay, so the whole "something old, something new, something
borrowed, something blue" thing doesn't exactly hold true for Heaven's "almost" wedding, but nothing about Heaven's life fits anybody's description of normal. At six months of age, she was the sole survivor of a plane crash, and the press named her the "lucky princess." Then she was adopted by one of the most powerful families in Japan and had a fairytale life. So why is she on the run from her family and training to be a samurai warrior hellbent on revenge? Like we said, nothing about Heaven is ordinary. That's why we love her.

The countdown to "Samurai Girl" has begun! Block out the weekend of September 5-7 for the three-day "Samurai Girl" event. You won't want to miss a minute of it.

What would be the best thing about life as a samurai princess?
