The barn blaze may be out, but the fire between Kris and Junior is still burning. Kris knows it. Laura knows. But somehow, Junior denies it. Actually, he can't make up his mind. For that matter, neither can Kris. Or so it seems.
One minute Kris tells Junior to forget about the past and focus on Laura and the wedding. The next she tells him that he can't turn his back on his turbine invention. Then, on a walk together, everything becomes crystal clear … for a moment. Kris finally tells Junior that she loves him, only to have him tell her that it's over. He walks away, then turns back and kisses her. Is it a kiss goodbye? Or does he still love her, too?
Laura senses that something is up between Junior and Kris, but instead of turning into "Bridezilla," she makes Kris a bridesmaid. According to Dani, it's just her way of keeping an eye on her. As for Dani, she and Noah have been spending "quality" time together in the storage room, until Noah spoils the fun by wanting something more serious. After losing RJ, Dani doesn't want to risk her heart again, so she tells Noah they can never be more than lovers. But will that be enough for him?
Back at Raintree, Flame finally breaks away from his pace horses and starts to show some real potential as a racehorse. Kris and Matt have faith in him, but he'll have to do more to win Jean and Pablo's trust. And so will Kris.
