Eric Forman
Topher Grace's first name is actually Christopher, but he hated being called Chris at school so he changed it to Topher. Before he nabbed the Eric Forman role, Topher's only acting experience was in school plays. In fact, the producers of "That 70's Show" spotted him during a local stage production in Connecticut, and the rest is history!
You probably also remember Topher as the villainous Eddie Brock/Venom in "Spider-Man 3." Plus, he's had leading roles in "Win a Date with Ted Hamilton!," "Kids in America," and "Mona Lisa Smile." In 2009 he'll be seen in "Coxblocker" (not yet rated) and "The Crusaders" (not yet rated). When he's not acting, Topher can be found practicing his forehand out on the tennis court. Eric Forman is a shy, nervous teenager living in 1976 Wisconsin with his overprotective mom, Kitty, and strict dad, Red. He's the geek with a heart of gold, and he often ends up taking the blame for his friends' misadventures. Opposites attract, and there's no better proof than Donna, his tomboy girlfriend, and Hyde, his rebellious best friend. Most of the show happens in Eric's basement, where the kids hang out, daydreaming about their lives and futures.
