Niecy is currently the host of "Clean House" and stars in "Reno 911!" The American Women in Radio & Television recently honored her with a Gracie Allen Award for her work on "Clean House." She also starred in the feature film "Reno 911: Miami," the TV series spin-off. Niecy's wit has made her the newest correspondent on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
Nash majored in theater from California State Dominguez Hills. Niecy's feature film roles include "Boys On the Side," "Cookie's Fortune," "The Bachelor," "Malibu's Most Wanted," "Code Name: The Cleaner," "Guess Who" and "Hair Show." Her next feature, "Cook-Off!," premiered at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
Niecy's television recurring roles include "The Bernie Mac Show," "Presidio Med," "That's Life," "Popular" and "City of Angels." She also guest starred on "My Name Is Earl," "Monk," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Girlfriends," "NYPD Blue," "That's So Raven," "One on One," "Judging Amy," and "Reba."
Niecy has voiced characters on animated series including "Kid Notorious," "The Boondocks" and "Minoriteam." Niecy also lends her voice in the upcoming animated feature, "Horton Hears a Who." Mrs. Boots is Buckley's nemesis, who takes delight in crushing his schemes. She sees herself as the classiest cat in the town of Wendell. Mrs. Boots is very, very sensitive about the 'boots' on her paws, and the name she was given, which implies that there is a Mr. Boots, which there is certainly not.
