A NEW ABC FAMILY ORIGINAL SERIES

cast
Molly Ringwald
Molly began her film career at age 13 with a Golden Globe-nominated performance in Paul Mazursky's "The Tempest." In the '80s, she starred in such beloved coming-of-age movies as "Sixteen Candles" and "Pretty in Pink," then moved to Paris in 1992 and acted in such films as "Seven Sundays" and "King Lear," a screen adaptation directed by French film legend Jean-Luc Godard. Molly's recent film credits include the Australian film "Cut," as well as "In the Weeds" and "Cowboy Up."
On TV, you might have seen her in the series "Townies," Stephen King's "The Stand," or in the Emmy-nominated "Something to Live for: the Alison Gertz Story." But Molly's also done a ton of theatre. She starred as Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" on Broadway, in a London stage production of "When Harry Met Sally," and in the Tony-nominated "Enchanted April." She also appeared off-Broadway in "Tick Tick Boom" and in a recent off-Broadway production of "Modern Orthodox." Most recently, she starred in a national theater tour of "Sweet Charity." Anne Juergens, loving, caring mother to Amy and Ashley Juergens, has more problems than just her daughter's secret pregnancy. Having married her own husband, George, shortly after discovering that she was pregnant with Amy, Anne's wondering if having wed hastily at a young age was the right thing to do after all. Probably not, she decides, when she finds out that George has been cheating on her with another woman. Now Anne has to decide if she should leave George for good ... or if she and the girls need him now more than ever.
