If Alice looks familiar, it's because she was a television regular throughout the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, with leading roles on "One Live to Live" and "Somerset," plus parts in tons of other popular series, including "Full House," "7th Heaven," "NYPD Blue," "ER," "Murphy Brown," and "Ellen" (playing Ellen DeGeneres's mom). Alice has two grown sons, including the playwright David Hirson. Mimsy is Anne Juergens's mother, which makes her Amy and Ashley's super-sweet, doting grandma. Amy plans to stay with her for the duration of her pregnancy, and Mimsy's all for it -- but then it turns out that Mimsy is struggling with issues of her own. She has Alzheimer's. Anne is reluctant to talk with Mimsy about her marital problems, fearing what Mimsy might say and unwilling to disappoint her.
