Patrick's films include "Longtime Companion," "I'll Do Anything," "I Won't Dance" and "Burning Love." He earned an Emmy nomination for his role in the TV miniseries "Dress Grey," and appeared in "Napoleon & Josephine," "Oklahoma Cit," "Something in Common," "Christmas Eve," "How the West Was Fun" and "Follow Your Heart." He was also a series regular on "Smallville," "Bay City Blues," "Dirty Dancing" and "Perversions of Science." He has guest starred on "Law & Order SVU," "Crossing Jordan," "Without a Trace," "According to Jim," "CSI: Miami" and "ER."

Patrick also has numerous stage credits. Most notably he appeared on Broadway in Elton John's "Aida," "42nd Street," "Annie Get Your Gun," "Pirates of Penzance" and "Leader of the Pack." He originated the role of the Balladeer in Stephen Sondheim's "Assassins" and appeared in "Lady in the Dark." National tours include Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in 2000 and again in 2006. Regionally, he was seen in "Conrack," "Martin Guerre," "The End of the Day," "I Love My Wife," "Threepenny Opera," "Love Letters," "The Music Man," "Carousel," "Little Shop of Horrors, "Camelot," and "Company."

Patrick has just completed a one-man show entitled "Just Act Normal." Through music and stories, he reflects growing up in a home where every single person around the dinner table is in show business. Patrick Gallagher traded his big hair and wild rock-n-roll lifestyle for a wife and two sons he adores. He went from being half of the 1980's pop sensation "The Rockits" to a nice suburban dad who runs a successful car dealership.

That doesn't mean he doesn't love watching his old music videos on the Internet or that he doesn't sing in front of the mirror when he thinks no one's looking. It's just that he's content to be a family man — unlike his brother David who's still performing and with whom he has a rocky relationship. So when David asks Patrick to take care of his newfound daughter Ruby, it gives the brothers something they never expected to have — a second chance at being close.
