tim lopez

If there's a "bad boy" of the Plain White T's, it's Tim Lopez. He likes to wear black, he sports a tattoo, and -- conclusively -- he's a self-described "huge Slash fan." As in Slash, the former guitarist for what was once known as "the World's Most Dangerous Band," Guns N' Roses.

But ... Tim's not really bad. That tattoo? It's for his hometown of Santa Barbara, California. Can you blame a guy for wanting a reminder of where he came from, especially when he's the odd man out, the only non-Chicago native in the band?

Black? It goes with everything.

And Slash? Whatever else Slash may have done, he plays excellent guitar, and Tim is a guitar man. This guy is a professional guitarist -- and when it's time for video games, his favorite is Guitar Hero. So, it's fair to say he loves what he does.

Still think he's bad? Well, you need to know more about Tim. Like his great love of old Hall & Oates tunes. Hey, we agree with him: Those songs are catchy, but Hall & Oates aren't exactly ... dangerous. And then there are Tim's beloved Labradors, Bo and Frankie, who always bring out his soft-hearted side.

So, Tim Lopez: bad boy? Well, maybe not all the time. Fun-loving, talented guitar man? Definitely.
