Matt Keeslar didn't know it, but he won the part of "The Middleman" a decade ago. According to the show's Creator and Executive Producer, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Keeslar "got the role a few years ago when he delivered a monologue about 'Lady and the Tramp' in Whit Stillman's 1998 film 'The Last Days of Disco.'

Trained at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, the Grand Rapids, Michigan native quickly won his first starring role opposite Albert Finney in the Irish drama "The Run of The Country." Many parts followed, but Keeslar is best-known to audiences for starring roles in projects like "Scream 3," "Art School Confidential," and the sci-fi mini-series "Dune." Recently, he played opposite Christina Milian in the ABC Family holiday film "Snowglobe," and he'll soon star in the Lifetime film "Deadly Suspicion."

Keeslar's talents aren't limited to acting. He also produced, co-wrote, and starred in Christopher Jaymes' "The Reel" and associate-produced and starred in Jaymes' "In Memory of My Father." Matt Keeslar stars as the Middleman, a mysterious, straight-laced hero who's dedicated his life to fighting comic book-style villains. A throwback to heroes of more innocent times, the Middleman never swears and always has a glass of "cow squirt" on hand. (You might call it "milk.")

Don't let his "golly cheese and crackers" demeanor fool you. The Middleman is trained in several martial arts and isn't afraid to use them. Armed with high-tech alien gadgetry, he regularly receives directives to save the world; these come to him via Ida from the secretive organization nicknamed O2STK. He races to the front lines, wherever the most vexing evil lurks, in his Middlemobile or Middlejet. When he's not battling yet another bizarre menace, he spends his days training Wendy in the Middleman ways.
