Chelsea Hobbs started acting as a child and soon became a standout, when her portrayal of Gerda in Hallmark's production of Hans Christian Andersen's "Snow Queen" scored her the Canadian Leo Award for Best Lead Female Dramatic Performance. Before that, she made her TV debut as a regular on "No Adults Aloud" and later went on to have a recurring role on "The L Word." She's also been a guest star on "Cold Case," "Seven Days," "Mysterious Ways," and MTV's "The Sausage Factory," and she appeared in the miniseries "Beach Girls." Chelsea's a veteran of TV movies, including "The Party Never Stops: Diary of a Binge Drinker" and "Confessions of a Go-Go Girl." Her feature film work includes "The Legend of Echo Mountain," "The Unknown," and "Lords of Dogtown" with Heath Ledger. Emily Kmetko is not only the newbie on the team, she's also new to competitive gymnastics and the new girl in town. That could be three strikes against her ... or it could make her a triple threat. Either way, Emily knows that the scholarship she has to attend The Rock training facility is her chance to go for the gold, and she wants it so badly she can taste it. What she soon learns is that every gymnast at The Rock wants it just as much -- and some are willing to do anything to get it. No matter what happens, Emily is determined to prove that she and her mother Chloe and brother Brian didn't move all the way to Colorado just so she could fail. Emily's dreams have taken her this far, and she is refusing to give up! Still, fighting for her dream and fitting in to her new home won't be easy. Emily must take a job at the local Pizza Shack just to earn enough money to keep her family afloat. Feeling like an outsider is never fun, but Emily knows she must forge new friendships and relationships to keep herself going. Is there potential for romance in Emily's future? And can she juggle all this and still achieve her dream of Olympic gold?
