ABC Family fans know Candace Cameron Bure from her role on the beloved series "Full House." But before the world knew her as D.J. Tanner, Candace began her acting career with work in many national TV commercials and guest-starring roles on "St. Elsewhere," "Growing Pains," and "Who's the Boss?" After "Full House," Candace went on to star in several TV movies, including the critically acclaimed "No One Would Tell," and in such feature films as "Punchline," "Some Kind of Wonderful," and "Monster Mash: The Movie." An outsider in the world of competitive gymnastics, Summer comes into the fold when she gets romantically involved with Steve Tanner. Steve's daughter Lauren is a top gymnast at the ultra-competitive Rock training facility, and she makes it crystal clear that Summer isn't welcome in their family. Building a new relationship is hard enough, but winning over her new boyfriend's daughter may be even tougher, especially for someone with such traditional values. Will Summer get more than she bargained for as her relationship develops?
