Before starring in Lincoln Heights, Nicki Micheaux played the recurring roles of Detective Trish George on "The Shield," Karla on "Six Feet Under," and Lila on "Soul Food." She's also had recurring roles on "Felicity," "Dragnet," "City of Angels," and "Philly." She has guest-starred on such shows as "Desperate Housewives," "Brothers and Sisters," "In Justice," "NYPD Blue," "Jag," "ER," "The West Wing," and others. Her film credits include Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Ranch, With or Without You, The Trial and My Giant. The voice of reason in the Sutton family, Jenn isn't afraid to speak her mind when Eddie wants to move their family to Lincoln Heights. At first she dismisses the idea, but Eddie soon wins her over and before she knows it she's turning a rundown house into a beautiful home. On the one hand it's perfect, but on the other hand she can't deny the harsh realities of living in Lincoln Heights. Not one to be easily shaken, Jenn holds fast to Eddie's dream and is determined to make things work, but can she really make their new house into the home she always wanted for her family?
