Nicki Micheaux has played every kind of woman. From a troubled addict on "Six Feet Under" to a fearless cop on "The Shield" and a femme fatale on "Soul Food," she's brought so many amazing characters to life. Her other memorable TV roles include guest-starring appearances on "The West Wing," "NYPD Blue," "ER," "The Practice," and "Injustice." She was also in "Oprah Winfrey Presents: Their Eyes Were Watching God" opposite Halle Berry. Most recently, Nicki starred in "Rain," a film about a mother struggling with poverty and AIDS in the Bahamas, alongside CCH Pounder and Irma P. Hall.

Over the years, she's come to care for the community of Lincoln Heights as if it were her own extended family -- first as an ER nurse and now as a nurse practitioner at the free clinic. Her new job and the challenges that come with having three teenagers will test Jenn in ways she's never been tested before.
