How's this for coincidence? Before they starred in "Lincoln Heights," Erica Hubbard and Mishon Ratliff were both in the movie "Akeelah and the Bee." The movie, starring Laurence Fishburne, Angela Bassett and Keke Palmer, was a feel-good hit. Erica played Kiana and Mishon provided his voice talents. Little did they know that they'd be together again ... this time on a hit show.

That's not the only thing. The girls that play charators Cassie and Lizzie both played in a tv show together. Boston Public I think as students. SO many run in.

I just watched Akeelah and the Bee and I didnt see Mishon Ratliff. Exactly who does he play and where in the movie was he seen.
i love the show it talk about real life we need more black shows like that the show a powerful i love i tell all my family ands friends about it that's a good family show that kids can look at i would like it if it come out on DVD can't wait 4 it to come back on P's.
