the king has left the building

What did you do on your vacation? Russell Hornsby spent his time away from Lincoln Heights in New York City. And he wasn't just soaking up the culture. He was part of it. He starred in "King Hedley II," the eighth play in August Wilson's 10-play cycle about the African-American experience in the 20th century. Russell played King, a man trying to make a better life for himself and his family. Sound familiar? Except King's an ex-con, not a cop. The play was a hit. Russell won raves. Where have we heard that before? If Eddie weren't a cop, what do you think he'd be?
