He can float on air, heal the sick, and leap from tall buildings, but it seems there's one thing Kyle can't do: mend his own broken heart. After wallowing in his tub for days, Kyle reluctantly agrees to go out with Declan and Josh for some male bonding and a little memory purging. They go to a bar that doesn't check ID and, before long, Kyle gets buzzed. He even forgets about Amanda ... for exactly 6 minutes and 14 seconds. Kyle's bar tricks — like telepathically making a glass move and flashing his missing belly button — go over big. The guys, including designated driver Josh, have a great time.

It's when they leave the bar that things go really bad, really quickly.

Their car, which is actually Stephen's SUV, gets towed, and they have a run-in with a creepy guy at the garage. One thing leads to another, and the friends end up stealing the car back, getting stranded, running into the very angry garage owner, and then escaping. Again. During all this, Declan picks a fight with Kyle and reveals that his bad ankle has put an end to his basketball dreams.

Meanwhile, at Jessi's apartment, Jessi confesses to Lori that she's in love with Kyle. Lori explains that Kyle could pine for Amanda for weeks, months, years ... forever. But Jessi doesn't care. Lori suggests that they go to The Rack with Cassidy, Jessi's cute neighbor. (Little do they know that he's the one who kidnapped Amanda.) When Jessi tells him about her feelings for Kyle, Cassidy offers to help. But just what does he have planned? While Jessi and Cassidy get to know each other, Lori meets Cassidy's friend — who just happens to be Mark. After some initial post-breakup weirdness, they make up and end up back at Jessi's apartment.

The night ends in the Trager kitchen, where Kyle learns what real male bonding is — good friends talking about things that really matter. Declan and Josh tell him he needs to tell Amanda the truth about his past. Kyle decides to do it and walks out the door to go to Amanda's.

But he doesn't get far.

Someone's waiting for him in the dark. It's Foss, and he has bad news: Adam's dead. And Foss has one thing to say ...
