Kyle's plan worked: Cassidy thinks Kyle killed Jessi, and he wastes no time using the info to his advantage. He shows Kyle one of the new incubation pods, and Kyle bristles at the thought of Latnok creating "biocomputers" who will be imprisoned in the pods forever. With a smirk, Cassidy tells Kyle that, if he stays out of Latnok's way, he can be free. As tempting as that offer is, Kyle has no intention of letting Latnok get away with its schemes. Back home, Jessi searches for the place where Cassidy's storing the gestational fluid for the pods. Meanwhile, Kyle devises a plan to destroy the hard drive and backup disk containing Adam's formulas. After some artful distractions -- and a little breaking and entering, with Declan's help -- Kyle destroys the drive and disk. He discovers that Cassidy's mother is a Latnok member named Grace Kingsley. Kyle and Jessi also learn that Latnok isn't planning on using embryos ... the plan is to clone Kyle! Jessi finds the warehouse where Cassidy's hiding the formula, and Kyle rushes over there. He starts injecting the fluid with a killer bacteria Jessi created, but before he can finish the job, Mark comes into the warehouse with some guards. Kyle jumps to the rafters and hides, but the syringe containing the bacteria slips out of his pocket. He stops it telepathically, but just how long can he hold onto it? Meanwhile, with Jessi's help, Amanda sneaks into Nate's room to recover the files he stole from Cassidy. But, just as Amanda begins to realize what she's looking at, Nate walks in. Within seconds, Nate's on the phone to Cassidy, telling him what Amanda and Jessi were up to. Hearing that Jessi's alive, Cassidy issues an alert across Latnok. Suddenly, the warehouse guards disperse -- and not a moment too soon. Kyle drops the syringe at Mark's feet. But, instead of reporting Kyle to the guards, Mark turns his back while Kyle injects the rest of the bacteria into the fluid. The fluid's destroyed, but the nightmare is far from over. Amanda sits helplessly in Nate's room until Jessi bursts in and saves her. They knock him out and have started downloading the files when they make a shocking discovery. Kyle returns home to find no one there ... except Cassidy, who says that if Kyle doesn't help him re-create the formula, he'll hurt everyone Kyle loves. The fight is on, and Cassidy blasts Kyle with an electric shock. He warns that first he'll hurt Jessi if Kyle doesn't cooperate. Kyle tries to get up, and Cassidy zaps him again. And next, Cassidy says, he'll hurt Amanda. Kyle rises up and punches Cassidy so hard he flies through the glass door. Suddenly, Kyle feels an anger inside like he's never felt before. He grabs Cassidy by the throat. Fighting for his life, Cassidy reveals what Jessi and Amanda have already found out: Grace Kingsley is Kyle's mother too. Cassidy and Kyle are brothers. Shocked by the news, Kyle searches his heart for what to do next ... let Cassidy go or finish it once and for all. .
