April's love for acting began in the Theater where she's performed in productions of "Steel Magnolias," "You Can't Take it With You" and "It's A Wonderful Life." Before "KyleXY," April played Penny in the Fox sitcom "Quintuplets."

April's film credits include "Forsaken," "Black Russian," and "Lock Pick Kid." Other performances include Ernest Thompson's" A White People's Christmas" and sketch comedy at LA's Second City Theatre. April Matson plays Lori Trager, Stephen and Nicole's teenage daughter. She's done a lot of growing up since Kyle arrived, and it hasn't always been easy. Lori rides a roller coaster of emotions when it comes to Declan, her sometime boyfriend. And when her own father does something totally out of character, Lori wonders if she can trust anyone. To top it off, she gets attacked -- another victim of Kyle's search for the truth. Having taken her share of knocks, Lori's unsure what'll happen next, but for the first time ever, she knows she's ready for whatever.
