is cappie too good for his own good? *spoiler alert*

Looks like Rebecca hasn't worked out all her daddy issues just yet. But it's not like daddy's making it easy for her, what with the whole sleeping-with-my-secretary thing. But that's no reason to drag Cappie into the mess, right? She pretty much made him out to be a total loser when she introduced him, which is even worse, since dude was trying his best to impress the bigshot dad. (Bigshot dad did bring up a good question, though: WTH is Cappie's major, anyway?)
So, Rebecca blew it, and by the time Ashleigh found her, she totally knew it. But with a little fast food, a little explaining, and some apologizing, she managed to win the Capster over again the next day. And she finally admitted she really, truly cares about him ... kinda, sorta. Eh, guess the Great Cappie takes what he can get.
Did he let her off too easy? Or is he just the world's most understanding guy? After all, girl's clearly got some serious issues, and maybe Cappie can help. Like Ash said, she has been 'nicer' since they started dating, right?
What do you think? Is Cappie too good for his own good? Is he too good for Rebecca? Or is he just what daddy's girl needs to get over her baggage? And if so, is she worth it?

I love Cappie and Rebecca together. I think they like each other for who they are. I think Rebecca did start off wanting to get back at Cassie but as she has gotten to know Cappie, I think she really likes him.
I agree that cappie and rebecca compliment each other since the guy version of rebecca is cappie pretty much lol. Cappie did let her go too easy, she probably would be super pissed if it were the other way around. They are becoming too normal of a couple. I hope they end things soon.
Okay I am seriously confused about something on the show, and I was hoping someone could explain to me how all of a sudden Dino is the president of Omega Chai instead of Evan. Thanks!
OMG!!!! i think he let her off way too easy. i think she likes him a bit but is only dating him to piss off daddy and get at casey. casey and cappie belong together. rebecca needs to go away cause cappie likes casey so much u can tell when he looks at her. and casey still likes him too! and if him and casey can't be together i'll take him!!!!!
plus rebecca kinda bugs me so her and cappie need to break up and cappie needs to be the one who does it so he's not depressed and doesn't just go to casey cause he was dumped!
i hate rebecca as much as the next cappie and casey forever fan but its hard to hate her these days shes gotten nicer since dating cappie and i know cappie let her off easy but i fell bad for her i mean her dads cheating on her mom again.
I think Cappie is way to good for Rebecca. I understand she was trying to make her dad mad but she could have done it other ways besides making Cappie look lazy and like a bum. So I think she got off too easy!

a- i agree since when is dino the preisdent of omega chai i thought it was evan for sure and also i do not like rebecca and cappie together at all cappie needs to dump her so he and casey can get back together they are meant to be
If they are trying to run the show in any way similar to how Greek life is run the president change makes complete sense. Male fraternities (IFC) and Women's fraternities (PHC) run on opposite leadership cycles. Boys elect at the end of spring for the next full school term and women elect at the end of Fall and their leadership terms run from spring to fall because they have to have experienced leadership in place to be able to pull off formal rush in the Fall, so technically they would never have had a total year term together only a semester. At least that is how most schools do it. Not all. That may be why Evan is no longer president but Casey is. Hopefully that explains it. If not ...well I tried. It could always just be some random plot thing because after all it's not real *shrug*
I have not been convinced that Cappie and Casey need to be together. Yes there have been looks but that's it. The flashback showed how Cappie neglected Cassie. Cassie can not except Cappie for who he is. She wants him to be sophisticated and that is not in his nature. She will always be trying to change him. Rebecca loves that he is different from her upbringing. They compliment each other.

no, i don't think that Kappie let Rebecca off too easy. When she first came to Kap for forgiveness, he was totally not interested, but when he heard what she was going through with the whole affair thing, then he understood that she was just trying to piss off her dad by making Kappie out to be a loser.
And i agree 33504667 that Kap and Rebecca compliment eachother, and i just haven't seen why every one is so hung up on Kappie and Casey getting back together, in the flash back they showed us that they weren't even that great of a couple.
I don't want Casey to go after a whole new guy though, i hope she and evan will get back together. they were a good match.(and from the previews for next weeks episode, they make it seem like she is going after that guy with the long black hair from the frat house she was coaching. i hope nothing happens there, they would be an ugly couple)
Okay, thanks for people explaining to me. I'm not trying to like prove you wrong or anything, I'm just confused and trying to confide with this: When there was a meeting of the presidents in the first episode of the season "two" why was Evan there acting as the president of Omega Chai? Just being clear: I'm just wondering, I'm not trying to prove you wrong.

I think cappie was too quick to take rebecca back. i understand why she was so upset, but she shouldn't have gone so far as to try to make cappie look bad. and then she just assumed he would be okay with it. i've come to grow on the cappie/rebecca union, but now i don't know. after that episode, i don't like rebecca again. and i think she's used the "bad rich girl/just wanting to piss off daddy" line a bit too much. she needs to find another excuse.
I think Cappie let her off way too easily. Rebecca knows how to work people though, she is the senators daughter and you know living in the lime light like she has all of her life she has figured out how to weasel and get her way. she is a very sly person. She is always in just the right place at just the right time. she knows how to get what she wants out of people. She was standing in perfect ear shot to hear in the beginning how Cappie and Casey slept together during rush, she asked Frannie what the deal was with him, always in perfect ear shot to get info to help her. SHe is way too sneaky for me. I think Cappie unfortunately genuinely likes her but I still think she is using him. First she tells him that there is no way he is meeting her dad and then introduces them without warning. She is playing games and she is good at it. THe only thing is, Casey is totally staying out of it and actually being supportive of the relationship. When Cappie found out she was going to be lavaleard (or however you spell that) Cappie came clean and told Casey that he was trying to come between her and Evan. Casey has only asked what Cappie sees in her, she has not overtly tried to break them up. She does not see or understand why they are together, but she is not hindering it. The only reason Cappie decided to take Rebecca to the ball was because he screwed up with Casey and I felt so bad for Casey because she did not get to have that experience, and now Cappie is coming through for someone else. Casey is really maturing and growing up. I think her little vent session on Evan was what she needed. She needed to get those feelings out so that she could get over Evan. I don't see smooth trails for Cappie and Rebecca, that opposite relationship is not going to last forever, even if Daddy has nothing to do with it. Rebecca does not deserve Cappie. Cappie is very quick and smart and resourceful. He does like to rebel though, which is why Rebecca is appealing to him right now, once that has worn off, I think the glamour of the situation will to.

They look cute together and deep down they know that they still like eachother!!!!

I hate Cappie and Rebecca together. I mean they are the oppisite. She just basically said he was a loser. I mean thats got to hurt Cappie that Rebecca is making him out as a low life loser who came from a bad family. He should have ended it I mean hes still in love with Casi.
