ABC Family: Greek greek to air in uk on bbc3

greek to air in uk on bbc3

Used to be, an American needed a Rhodes Scholarship to do college on the other side of the Pond, but now that BBC3 is planning to air 'Greek' in the UK, Cyprus-Rhodes may be the way to go. The British Broadcasting Corporation's BBC3 channel (it's got a charter from the Queen ... how cool is that?) is bringing America's Greek system to the home of Harry Potter.

They don't have frats and sororities over there, so it's up to Sir Cappie and Lady Casey to show how much fun Yanks can have 'at university.' This could be the beginning of a fruitful international exchange. Just think--a fish 'n' chips formal! Care to wager 10 quid the Kappa Taus could pull that off? They've always shown themselves to be enterprising chaps. Tally ho!

OK, you try it. What's your favorite British expression?

In Italy we had two channels who broadcasted Greek... Fox on the sat, and MTV on the terrestrial... but now both of them stopped with 10th episode of 1st season -.- even with all those difficulties, Greek's fans in Italy becomes more and more every day (thanks to a good team of guys that realize Italian subtitles for all the shows broadcasted in US). Why don't talk about this, even if we don't speak English like BBC? Big smile
