cappie and evan: still hatin' spoiler alert

Looks like things haven't changed as much as we thought. The restrictions on Greek activities are gone, but Cappie and Evan still got their feud on. First, Evan freezes out Cappie and the KT bros from the Omega's first big 'unrestricted' party. Then Cappie has the Kappa Taus steal all the booze (and partiers) from the Omegas' party. Who's hatin' now?
Geez, when are these guys gonna let it go? Neither one is even dating Casey; now it's like they're just trying to find excuses to get in each others' faces. Evan could have let the Kappas come to the party. After all, it was Cappie who got the ball rolling to get the restrictions lifted. But, seriously though, was it really necessary for Cappie to call Evan a '[filtered word] bag' — even if Evan was being one? What gives, huh?
So what do you guys think is really going on here? Does Evan still think Cappie is competition for Casey, even though Cappie is dating someone else? Is Cappie still sore that Evan 'stole' a girl who neither of them is even dating any more? Or is it something else entirely? What's the deal? Why the hate?

I think they both still want Casey. They will always hate each other because of her.
I think so friendships die hard, and both of them are bitter.
And Evan obviously still wants Casey and is mad that Cappie inadvertedly broke them up and moved on.
I think at this point it's more a matter of pride. There really is no real reason for them to still hate each other but neither is willing to work things out just yet. Maybe now that restrictions are lifted and Casey isn't as much of an issue anymore, the focus will be on Cappie and Evan being friends again.
I think that they both want Casey still. But, I think that it is all about pride and who Casey cares about more. I mean they make such a great team when they don't argue...They should just become friends again... By the way I liked how Cappie covered up who he'd rescue if Rebecca and Casey were both drownig. Duh it would be Casey
It's obvious that they both still want Casey, Evan is just the only one who will openly admit it. And because they both still want her, they're going to fight. And once you start a fight, it's really hard to stop it. Although, I thought the plan they made to steal the alcohol and the partiers was pretty awesome.
can someone tell me what time the newest episode (tonight's) will post? I missed it. Someone told me midnight, but is that pacific, central, or eastern?
and I am sure that both guys still have feelings for casey. I know Evan wants to be with her but I am not sure if it is just because he doesn't want her to be with anyone else. Cappie seems to have feelings for her that are shown only in the way he looks at her. He does seem to like Rebecca, but it is a shallow connection. If I could write the show Casey and Cappie would be an item.

Farmgirl is right on the money! It is about pride. And Cappie is totally still in love with Casey.
I think that both are still in love with Casey and they want to be the one that she cares about the most. Farmgirl10 is right they are both a great team when they aren't fighting all the time and if they put their differences aside they could become great friends again. I just loved Rebecca's question to Cappie about who he would save first if she and Casey were both drowning, because deep own inside she knows that Cappie still has very deep feelings for Casey and they will never go away so she is basically second in his life with Casey being first.
I think that both Cappie and Evan want Casey, well at least Evan is open about it. Sometimes I think it's hard for Cappie to realize he's with Rebecca. And Casey has feelings for both of them, what I'm trying to figure out is Franny, and how she feels for Evan...
Cappie and Evan have a ongoing war that they can't seem to get past. Cappie blames Evan for his breakup with Casey. If not for Evan maybe Casey and Cappie would still be together. I love how Cappie put Casey in her place with the whole Rebecca thing. Since she doesn't want to be in the middle of the Cappie-Evan fight he doesn't want to be put in the middle of the Casey-Rebecca drama.
I think they're both in love her. Evan is totally admitting to wanting to be with her while Cappie is acting like everything is just a big party.
I don't think I am going to answer on topic, but I just have to say this. Enough with the Casey/rebecca saga, so tired of it. Well, evan is seriously still in love with casey. Frannie seriously wants evan, how interesting is that? I saw an interview about spring break and that the writers thought about every possible hook-up so that episode should be interesting. I don't know that cappie still wants casey anymore. their interaction wasn't the normal flirtatious one that they normally have and casey and evan's was plenty awkward. i am really tired of the whole cappie rebecca thing though, although quite pleased that they are eliminating their mushy scenes, as an anti cappie/rebecca fan they make me sick. I think there is going to be a blow up with cappie/casey/rebecca. I think that cappie should be aware that rebecca blew off her sober sister duties, being a frat man himself, what would he have done if one of his pledges had done the same thing? I think there is more to the whole cappie/evan hate though. Yeah, we saw some of it aired during the freshman daze episode, but now it is more about the houses, evans top pick was kappa tau, not omega chi and lets not forget that kappa tau was taking cappie either way, evan was only in because of cappie, that has nothing to do with casey. cappie called evan by his would be nick name of bing after the prohibition party that evan ratted them out on. that was a reminder of how evan didn't make it to kappa tau, his dream frat. I don't think their feud has anything to do with casey anymore, it is a frat jealously fight now.
I just don't understand... The whole Casey/Rebecca thing is getting old! I just don't like Rebecca! I think she is awful for Cappie! I don't think Even is really thinking, if he were he would know that he is going about the whole "winning Casey back" all wrong! She is going to pissed when she finds out! Maybe by that time Rebecca and Cappie will have broken up and she can run to Cappie for advise.... And BOOM!!! An old flame will be relit!

Both Evan and Cappie still want Casey. The only difference is Evan is being upfront (sorta) about it, and Cappie is trying to move on with Rebecca. Unfortunately I don't buy the Rebecca/Cappie relationship. I never did. I believed the sex and random hookups, but the actual relationship is not a solid one. I don't buy it. I feel that the writers are trying to show a softer side to Rebecca with the Cappie relationship but they don't fit and it seems OUT of character to even TRY to make her more human in this way. I don't like it. And I'm tired of the Rebecca/Casey fighting. They don't even know why they hate each other so much anymore. Well Casey doesn't. Rebecca knows that she is competing with Casey for Cappie's emotions. She voices this in almost every single episode. It's annoying. None of the guys like Rebecca and he doesn't even seem to show any inclination to liking her at all. It's time the writers broke up Cappie and Rebecca. Ahem, back on point. They both want Casey but that's not what their fighting over anymore. Before it was Casey, but it's also over the houses. Omega Chi versus Kappa Tau. But deep down it's more than anything a fight between two guys who grew up together who grew tired of each other's ways. Is it immature? Probably. But it's the truth. Casey is a part. The house competition is a part. But you can't say that's ALL of it.

Ok Franny sooo has a crush on Evan which is so wrong and I cant belive Evan is not getting the hint. Cappie needs to hurry up and break it off with Rebecca I mean he doesnt even act that interested in her. If he is only doing it because he thinks its what Casey wants then he needs to get over that and go for her! I feel a new fight between Evan and Cappie coming up over Casey
I think it's awesome that Franny has a thing for Evan. She's been on good behavior, and Casey's supposedly over Evan, and Evan really should get over Casey because they shouldn't be together anyway. I mean, I think they're cute as a couple, but just not as cute as Cappie and Casey. Evan's made some huge mistakes, and Cappie made mistakes, but it's not like he cheated on her or paid someone off to keep her all to himself. I think Franny's crush is perfect and I think Evan might have a little crush on her, too. I'm sure Casey won't love it, but who cares? Casey's great, but she's completely afraid of making mistakes and looking like a fool. She needs to lighten up and stop trying to be perfect. I love Rebecca Logan, I wouldn't be friends with her, ever, but I think she's an awesome character (and i think the actress who plays her is gorgeous, too). I think Cappie's trying to move on but still hates Evan, i mean, what guy wouldn't hate his best friend for taking away his girlfriend? It's one thing for Franny to have a crush on Evan because Franny isn't casey's best friend and because Casey's the one who decided to move on. The same goes for Rebecca. I mean, honestly, just because she dated these guys and still has feelings for them both doesn't make them hers. Casey needs to resolve her issues or have serious regrets. As for Rusty, how great is his new love interest? She's so infuriating and so perfect for him.
Oh yea, I loved the Cappie/ Rusty ventriloquist act, too. I love how close they are, Rusty is totally Cappie's new Evan...except not a spoiled rich kid.
Cappie and Evan will always hate each other. They will always fight for mulitiple reasons.
One of the biggest reasons is Casey. Both of them will never be able to forget what they did to get her and neither of them will be able to get over her. Plus its not like they can go back to be best buds rite? I mean that would just be one thing...AAAWWKK-WURRDD! There friendly relationship is dead, so what else are they gunna do? Fight to the death (not litterally i hope). I mean Evan is a tight-butt, prissy rich boy and Cappie is the COMPLETE oppisites. In this situation i really dont think opisites attract...unless it to punch each others heads off.
Evan and Cappie? buds? never in a million years? they will continue to fight.they are like tom and jerry always out to get each other.Evan still loves cassie, but franie needs to back off. Evan and casey belong together...they need time to figure it out
it's because at times Evan can REALLY be a -bag (even tho he'll always be better than Rebecca, whom i loathe w/ a passion). thats y Cap gets annoyed & they r always competing. yes, its of course bcoz of Casey & bcoz of the fact that they r so different but i doubt that it goes beyond that. they r both jealous of each other in different areas. & since they r in rival frats, & they r both @ the head, they fite. but, no offense 2 any1 who wants Case w/ Evan, i just dont c them 2gether. & honestly, whoever thinx they look gud 2gether is clearly not seeing the whole picture & is making a mistake. bcoz Casey DOESNT love Evan, & i honestly dont think she ever has. & no matter how nice Evan will EVER be, it will never amount up to Cappie's love & kindness. Case deserves more than Evan, & the person she must end up w/ is Cappie. bcoz their chemistry & history & stolen looks & honesty will never fade. they r the nice ones, the ones who belong 2gether. Evan & Frannie & Rebecca r the conniving ones, the ones who have lost hope & c the bad in the world... but w/ Cap & Case, its different..
& i hope that Cap & Case have a moment soon, bcoz im REAALLY starting 2 miss season 1. im sik of Evan w/ Case wen its just so wrong, and Cap w/ Rebecca wen thats just 2 wrong..

I think Evan can be a good person and sometimes I can see him with Casey but not like Cappie.

I think that the only reason she went for Evan was to make Cappie jealous.
Rebecca seems like shes just trying to make Casey jealous,because thats how she is.
Plus Cappie is alot nicer to Rusty.
So yeah.

THE MINIM SREIES IS GR8. I LOVE ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ECSPECIALLY CASSIE, EVAN, CAPPIE. THEY ARE THE BEST ON THE SHOW AND THEY TRUELY ACT LIKE REAL COLLEGE freAks.BUT I LOVE THE WAY THE CAST ALL WORKS TOGETHER. THEY ARE VERY ENCOURAGING TO ALL YOUNG PPL. i think hockey77 is right. but i hope casey ends up with evan. i think he is the best choice at the end of the day he really cares about her, while cappie was w/ casey's enemy, evan was chasing casey. he deserves her after everything
