david sutcliffe stars in 'towards darkness'

So what do "Gilmore Girls" and "Ugly Betty" have in common? A lot of smart, snappy dialogue and tongue-in-cheek sass. What else? Two super-talented actors who are teaming up on a decidedly darker project. David Sutcliffe (Rory's dad) is one of the leads in "Towards Darkness" (rated R), a Spanish-language thriller executive-produced by and
starring "Ugly Betty" lead America Ferrera. Tony Plana (Ignacio on "Betty") plays a Colombian bank manager who has just 90 minutes to save his kidnapped son (played by Roberto Urbino). This harrowing drama sounds intense and exciting!
