As Sookie St. James, actress Melissa McCarthy had ditzy down. How'd she nail it? Maybe she modeled the character on her cousin Jenny, the noted pinup/actress/best-selling author, who became famous for being funny and ditzy in real life. Another thing those McCarthy girls share? Loving devotion to their sons. Jenny's written several books about pregnancy and parenting, and her newest, "Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism," has been out for a few weeks and is in Amazon's Top 30. Meanwhile, Melissa's moved on to ABC's new comedy "Samantha Who?" More on that soon.
