'the cutting edge' connection: who's who?

If your blades are sharp, you've probably figured out that Jackie Dorsey, the coach in "The Cutting Edge 3," is the same character as the figure skating ice princess in "The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold." (She's also played by the same actress, Christy Carlson Romano.) But did you catch that Jackie's parents/coaches in "CEII," Kate and Doug, are the main characters in the original "The Cutting Edge," all grown up? (They're played by different actors than they were in the original.)

Which "Cutting Edge" movie is your favorite, and why?

As an old lady, I just love the first Cutting Edge. I know all the lines. One day I watched it five times as I was cleaning and ironing. "Don't quit your day job!" Toe Pick! I loooooved that movie and have the dvd to watch anytime I'm in the mood for a great love story!

Myself I like both 2&3 about the same Christy and Francia are both very good actress not taking anything from the guys.I sure hope they come out with #4with the actors from 2&3 only this time they go to the olympics and maybe Christycan have a little one and Francia finds out she is expecting at the end of the movie so then they will have the next pair of skaters to continue with there kids being the next skaters in#5

I liked the second one best because it was the most interesting. Also, I loved the romance between the two of them. The first and third ones were good to. Just not my favorites.
