In one of the greatest romantic movies ever, a man reads to a woman in a nursing home, and a story unfolds ... . It's the 1940s, and Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling, "Lars and the Real Girl") and Allie Hamilton (Rachel McAdams, "Mean Girls") are from different worlds. He's a country boy, and she's from the city -- but when they meet, it's love at first sight. They share a magical summer, until fate conspires against them.
