Gary Oldman burst upon the scene with his portrayal of Sid Vicious in the acclaimed 1986 film "Sid and Nancy." From a doomed punk rocker to Ludwig van Beethoven in "Immortal Beloved," Gary has played a wide array of characters -- and not all of them musically inclined. Sirius Black is the notorious Prisoner of Azkaban -- the first person ever to escape the impenetrable wizard jail. He also happens to be Harry's godfather. Having been falsely accused of betraying Harry's parents and killing former friend Peter Pettigrew, Sirius escapes Azkaban by turning himself into a dog. When news of Sirius's escape reaches Hogwarts, rumor has it that he's coming after Harry. At first, Harry is frightened, but he soon learns the truth about Sirius -- and about what happened to his parents.
