Rupert Grint made his film debut in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." He also costarred in "Thunderpants," about a boy with an unusual -- and stinky -- gift. Rupert's other work includes the 2006 film "Driving Lessons," about a shy teen who gets an education in life while riding behind the wheel with an eccentric actress. The actress is played by Julie Walters, who plays his character's mom, Molly Weasley, in the Harry Potter films. As Harry's best friend, Ron fights off giant marauding spiders, rides in a flying car, tangles with a killer tree, and comes face to face with true evil -- and all before he turns 15. On the outside, he appears shy and awkward, but within he has the heart of a true hero. As the youngest boy in a large, humble wizard family, Ron doesn't have flashy stuff, but he does have a pedigree: The Weasleys come from a long line of "purebloods," or pure wizards -- as opposed to ordinary people (aka "Muggles") who are born with magical powers. Ron's parents and siblings welcome Harry into their home, giving the young orphaned wizard the family he never had.
