about the movie
the father of the bride 2
Just when George Banks (Steve Martin, "Cheaper by the Dozen") is getting used to the fact that his daughter, Annie (Kimberley Williams, "According to Jim") is married, he gets another shocker. His baby girl is going to have a baby!
Suddenly, George's life is turned upside-down all over again and he starts to act, well, even nuttier than before. News of impending grandfatherhood causes George to act out in ways way younger than his years. Call it an instant midlife crisis, and before you can say, "how much is that Porsche?" another bombshell hits. His wife (Diane Keaton, "Mad Money") is pregnant too!
George tries to deal with the double whammy as best he can but, baby, it's not easy. He gets himself into one outrageous predicament after another, and it's anyone's guess how George will cope with the big day – er, days. With a little help from Franck Eggelhoffer (Martin Short, "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause"), who's back to shake up the Banks's lives again, George is in for a surprise or two ... and maybe he'll even surprise himself. (1995)
