Kate Moseley (Moira Kelly, "One Tree Hill," "The West Wing") is a champion figure skater whose biggest wish is to go to the Olympics. Doug Dorsey (D.B. Sweeney, "Life As We Know It") is a washed-up hockey player looking for a second chance. Their fates meet when Kate reluctantly hires Doug to be her new skating partner, even though they can't seem to agree on anything. The relationship is icy at best, but at least they have one thing in common: a goal to win the gold. Can they ace the moves that count? Will their hearts ever thaw? And can they heat up the ice without having a meltdown? (1992)

Moira Kelly stars as Kate Moseley, a figure skater with a ton of potential and a huge attitude problem. Can her new partner melt her heart, or will the ice queen reign?

Some of Moira Kelly's many acting credits include being a regular on "One Tree Hill," "The West Wing," and "To Have and To Hold." She started her film career in movies such "Billy Bathgate" and went on to appear in "Daybreak," "With Honors," 'Little Odessa," "Unhook the Stars," "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me." and more. She's also the voice of Nala in "The Lion King" and its sequels. Moira recently reunited with her "Cutting Edge" co-star, D.B. Sweeney in "Two Tickets to Paradise," a film Sweeney wrote, directed, and produced. As for Moira's own efforts behind the camera, she directed two episodes of "One Tree Hill," entitled "Resolve," and "I Slept with Someone in Fall Out Boy and All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me."

With dozens of credits to his name, D.B. Sweeney is a familiar face on TV and in the movies. Some of his most memorable work includes roles in "Jericho," "Life as We Know It," "Eight Men Out," "Memphis Belle," and "Lonesome Dove." He's appeared on "House M.D." "CSI," and "CSI: Miami," and has had recurring roles on "Harsh Realm," "Once and Again," and C-16: FBI." D.B. wrote, directed, produced and starred in the film "Two Tickets to Paradise," which also stars Moira Kelly, his leading lady from "Cutting Edge." Next up for D.B. are roles in the feature films "Miracle at St. Anna," and "Stiletto."
