the polar express

'Tis the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature is stirring ... not even a little boy (Peter Scolari) who's lost his belief in Santa Claus. Lying awake in bed, he listens for any proof that Santa may actually exist. Suddenly, he hears a far-off rumble. His room begins to shake. But it's not reindeer hooves he hears: It sounds more like ... a train? The rumbling grows louder and louder, until it stops right outside his window. The magical Polar Express has arrived.

A friendly conductor (Tom Hanks) welcomes the boy aboard, and he meets other kids who've lost their faith in Santa. Together they take a fantastic ride and meet mysterious characters. Along the way, magical scenes play out across the snow-covered landscape - and right inside the train.

Where are they going? The North Pole, complete with elves busily getting ready for Christmas. But the children still have their doubts - until something amazing happens to make them believe once and for all.
