In this hilariously heartwarming sequel, Maya Dolittle (Kyla Pratt, "One on One," "The Proud Family") returns to the screen as the daughter of friend to the animals Dr. Dolittle. Having inherited her dad's gift for gabbing with beasts, Maya's all set to attend vet school at San Francisco University ... except for one small hitch in the plan. The admissions committee doesn't think her high school grades are good enough, so they give her four weeks to prove herself.

Luckily for Maya, the chance to show her stuff comes right to her doorstep, when White House intern Cole (Niall Matter, "The Best Years") arrives with an urgent job for Dr. Dolittle. Dad's away on assignment in Antarctica, so Maya takes on the task of talking some sense into Daisy, President Sterling's (Peter Coyote, "A Walk to Remember") dog, who's been tearing up the White House. With an important visit from Prince Tharoor (Kwesi Ameyaw, "Smallville") just weeks away, the First Dog must be on her best behavior ... or the Prince might not sign an important bill that will save a large rain forest, along with all the endangered species in it. It's up to Maya to save national security, and secure her own future. (2008)
